Solidarité Migrants Rueil (SMR) is a secular and apolitical association in Rueil-Malmaison (Hauts-de-Seine).
Its missions are: the integration of migrants, educational success, and administrative and legal assistance.
It is open to all people of foreign origin living in or near the city.
It is a non-profit organization, governed by the law of 1901.
Created in December 1983 in Rueil-Malmaison (Hauts-de-Seine), SMR had its bylaws published in the Journal Officiel on March 22, 1984.
The choice of the association’s name stems directly from the main objectives it set for itself, which still represents the foundation of its philosophy.
Forty years after its creation, SMR now has more than 450 members, including 200 volunteers and supporters.
